On December 12th 2021 The Jets and The Saints go head to head at Metlife Stadium. After a five-game losing streak, Alvin Kamara led the Saints to a 30-9 win over the Jets in his first game back from a knee injury at Metlife Stadium on Sunday. Which makes The Saints move onto the next game trying to make it to the playoffs.

The Saints looked more happier and energized with Alvin Kamara back on the field after suffering a knee injury that kept him out for four weeks. It was his fifth career game with 100 yards and finishing off the day with 120 rushing yards with one touchdown, 120 rushing yards, 25 receiving yards, 4 receptions. Taysom Hill was named the Saints starting Quarterback while facing the Jets and played much better than against the Cowboys last week. Hill threw for 175 yards, 15/21. Hill topped it off with 2 rushing touchdowns, one of them was 44 yards to seal the game. Hill totalled 73 rushing yards. The Jets still can’t get things together after Wilson lost his two biggest threats, Corey Davis and Elija Moore, because of their injuries.

Three Jets players did not play due to injury and six were questionable. Michael Carter (ankle) and Tevin Coleman (concussion protocol) were still out on the sidelines. Wide receiver Corey Davis (groin) is still out for the rest of the year as well. Three Saints players didn’t play due to injury and Marcus Davenport was limited at practice during the week.

With the final score being 30-9 leaving The Saints to win, The Saints head coach Sean Payton said that “It was a good team win and we did a lot of things right.” This quote means that he was extremely proud of the team. As the game ends, The Saints fans are very happy to see their favorite team make their way up to try and get to the playoffs and cross their fingers hoping they'll be in the 2022 SuperBowl.
