MEET EMILY MYLOD

Emily Mylod hit a three-run triple to tie up the semi-final game in her tournament in Salisbury, Maryland. She is a strong hitter and a solid left fielder for the Sparta Cyclones. “I like it because a lot of players tend to pull the ball so they hit it to me.” Mylod said. She enjoys playing left field because she gets a lot of action. The team’s strengths are consistent hitting and clean defense. When the Cyclones play less competitive teams, they tend to play down to their level, which is one of their weaknesses. The Sparta Cyclones have traveled to Maryland, Connecticut, and plan to go to Pennsylvania. Mylod plans to stay in softball shape in the offseason by attending the team's winter training workouts, which will get her ready for the Spring/Summer season.
