MEET JOSH DANYUS

Jefferson Township High School Junior, Josh Danyus, an outside linebacker and inside receiver for the JTHS Football team shares his thoughts on his team and their season so far. As a relief to all on the team Danyus, states that the team has not been affected by covid severely this year and with things getting back to normal for the team this year they have seen an increased workload. The team this year is definitely more defensive heavy with some of the team's strengths being their defensive line with three defensive captains, and the team's quarterback is going to play division one college football after highschool. However, the team has had a rough start to the season only accumulating two wins, yet they are still playoff hopefuls and Danyus believes that they can make the playoffs. Even if the team does not make the playoffs this year there are great expectations for next season. Danyus believes the team will not lose four straight and the Senior leadership will be improved from previous years.
