Michigan will face off against Iowa for the Big Ten title to close out the college season this Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Some Key players for this game are Cade McNamara and Hassan Haskins, the QB and RB for Michigan. McNamara is a huge unexpected asset to Michigan's Team. He was the top rated high school player in Nevada, setting state records with 12,804 passing yards and 146 touchdown passes. He enrolled at the University of Michigan in 2019 but did not see game action until the 2020 season. Haskins is vital to the team as being the “partner in crime” of Mcnamara.  Haskins  had 255 carries, 2,197 yards and 31 rushing touchdowns with two receiving touchdowns. He also contributed on defense with nine sacks and two fumble recoveries, one of which he returned for a 50-yard touchdown. Deuce Hogan, the QB for Iowa, is a strategically amazing QB. He holds school records for career wins, touchdowns, yards, and completions, threw for 8,192 yards and completed 52.8 percent of his pass attempts, with 100 career touchdown passes and 30 interceptions. Zach Brand the RB for Iowa goes hand in hand with Hogan. As a senior, Brand finished the season with 130 carries for 839 yards and 12 touchdowns

Focusing on the QB’s throughout the season progress, determinations and of course stats are shown and reflected off the players. Michigan's head coach (Jim Harbaaugh) made a comment on his QB (Cade Mcnamara) he said “We haven’t lost a game because of Cade'' Mcnamara led Michigan all the way until the end. With a different QB they could not have this record and or the Big Ten Title. Some insight and comments on Iowa's QB (Deuce Hogan) was said by his former teammate and Iowa's former QB, Ryan Boyle, “Great kid. He has done an outstanding job, and he’s an absolutely great teammate. He’s gonna take the Hawkeyes far.” Boyle stepped down from QB and Hogan stepped up and is doing an amazing job, the team and former team has a lot of hope for the Hawkeyes in the hands of Hogan.

Michigan's football team has been amazing this season, with their record, lack of injuries and publicity. They have multiple 4-5 star QB’s on their roster. Michigan is ready for the title this weekend but they are facing the same problem as last season with many drops and thrown inceptions. Iowa has multiple profound RB’s with amazing records and stats, they are all known for that. The Hawkeyes have done just enough offensively to win games this season, a constant problem that has been overcome by plays on the other side of the ball.

There is no known rivalry between Michigan and Iowa, Michigan beat Iowa in the playoffs for the most recent time in the 2016 season

Michigan recently beat their rival Ohio State 42-27 to be in the Big Ten. Iowa recently beat TCU 48-14 that was their final game before this one.

Michigan's overall record for this season is outstanding, they are currently 11-1 and ranked first for college football. Iowa’s record is just as good at 10-2 and they are ranked second for college football.
