#3 seeded Alabama goes down to Mercedes-Benz Stadium to meet #1 seeded Georgia in a explosive game to keep their college football playoff run alive.

The key players for Alabama are Bryce Young, Evan Neal and John Mechie II. These players will do big things for Alabama offense. Some key players for Georgia are Stetson Bennett, Tykee Smith, George Pickins and Jordan Davis. These players will help both offense and defense.

According to BamaOnline, Young, starting Quarterback for Alabama said, “On film, they're very good, very well coached, have very good players that play with very good discipline, play with athleticism, intensity top to bottom, at all levels...Individually and as a team, we're excited for the challenge. I have confidence in my guys. We all understand what it's going to take.” 

Georgia has an explosive defense which has only let up 83 points through 12 games. Alabama has an unstoppable passing game which got Young 40 passing tds and only 100 passing yards away from 4,000 passing yards.

The first Meeting was in 1895 and the latest meeting was in 2020. Alabama is on a 6 game week streak against Georgia. They have played 70 times and Alabama leads it with a 41-25-4 record against them.

Alabama has won 6 games in a row. The last three years Alabama has won 41-24 (20') , 35-28 (19') and 38-10 (18').

Alabama has a reputation for having undefeated seasons and making the playoffs which they had been. Georgia is known for having solid seasons but not making the playoffs. This season, Alabama has an 11-1 record and in 2020 had an 10-0 record and won the National Championship. Currently, Georgia is 12-0 as opposed to a 7-2 2020 season.
