With the offensive coordinator Jason Garrett gone, the New York Giants hope to have a better season game against the Los Angeles Chargers on December 12th at Sofi Stadium.

One of the Giants key players, QB Daniel Jones, was out for the Giants vs Dolphins and is unsure if he will be back for the Chargers vs Giants matchup. Their RB Saquon Barkley is also one of the Giants key players because he has gotten the most total yards in a single game which was 358 yards. Andrew Thomas is a key player for the Giants because he is the OL. One of the key players for the Chargers is Justin Hertbert the QB because he won the Rookie of the year award in 2020 and plays a very important part on the team. Kennan Allen being the WR, earned him a Comeback Player of the year for setting Chargers records of receptions and receiving yards. Joey Bosa is a key player being the DE, and was named Defensive Rookie of the year in 2016.

We know that the New York Giants Offensive coordinator was fired. The head coach, Joe Judge said, “Generally speaking, the offense's job is to score points. I don't believe we're scoring enough points.” The coach felt that if the offensive coordinator is no help to the team, they should get a new one that can help the team score more points. The Chargers head coach Brandon Staley, says "That guy gave us a real chance in the game. These penalties don't express themselves. This is going to be a monster 400-yard day. The plays he was making with fourth and pressure yesterday and the type of throws that were happening on that field, I felt like he was the best player on the field." He was saying this about a player from the opposing team, he had known that it was going to be a tough game for the team and they needed to be aware of certain players.

For the game, the Giants are going to try and run the ball as much as they can, it will be tough if their QB, Jones is still unable to play. The Charges offensive coordinator, Joe Lombardi has been a big help for them and while the Giants just fired their offensive coordinator the Chargers have an advantage.

The Giants and the Chargers both have many strengths and weaknesses. Some of the important Strengths for the Chargers are players Herbert, Bosa, Allen, coach Staley, and their revamped offensive line. They also have some weaknesses which is their Edge depth, secondary depth, receiver depth, linebackers, and the interior defensive line. Going along with those, the Giants have weaknesses which are their injured QB, Jones, Pocket-Awareness, offensive linemen, Guard position, and the play calling. Some of the Giants strengths are the secondary running back, Wide Receiver corps, Azeez Ojulari, and the Defensive line. All of these strengths and weaknesses from both teams can or will make an impact on their upcoming game this Sunday, December 12th.

Out of the 12 times the Giants and Chargers had played each other, the Chargers had won seven times leaving the Giants to only win five times.

In 2017, the Giants faced the Chargers at Metlife Stadium, and the Chargers won 27-22 against the Giants. That was the last time they played each other within four years.

The Giants past season record for 2018 is 5 - 11 and 2019 is 4 - 12. As of right now, the Giants are 4 - 8 but they still have five more games to play. The Chargers past season record for 2018 is 12 - 4 and 2019 is 5 - 11. As of right now, the Chargers are 7 - 5 and have five more games to play.

Final Score Prediction; 28-14 Chargers
