MEET ERIN SMEILUS

    Senior Erin Smeilus scores her first varsity goal in a blowout against North Warren where Jefferson won 6-0 on the opposing team’s senior night. Smeilus is now a senior on the Varsity field hockey team and says it feels awesome! After Smeilus’s freshman year, she quit volleyball and decided to make the switch to the field hockey team. Smeilus says she did not fit in well with the environment and was looking for something different. With a new varsity lineup after 12 seniors graduated last season, Smeilus says the team is doing great  They have really “stepped up to the occasion.”
