The Cowboys will run the ball with  Ezekiel Elliott and use Amari Cooper and Lamb, their secret weapons, as they face the Giants, who are currently missing starting QB Daniel Jones at MetLife Stadium on December 19th.
Some key players for the Cowboys are Dak Prescott, Elliott, and Cooper. Expect to see these players make an impact offensively. Ceedee Lamb and Micah Parsons will also impact the matchup defensively.
For the Giants, Kenny Golladay, Darius Slayton and Sayquan Barkley will offensively impact the game by making it harder on the Cowboys defense. As the season dies down, the Giants have to decide if they want to keep Daniel Jones as QB. The Giants will have to rely heavily on defense if Jones won't be back in time because of his injury from their matchup against the Eagles. If the Giants want to pull off the win they will have to step up on offense.
The Cowboys strengths outweigh their weaknesses. Prescott makes this presence on the field known and is a massive strength for the team. In his last full season, Prescott threw for 30 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He also earned almost 5,000 yards of offense. According to NBC Sports, Prescott said, “Yeah, I feel like I’m playing the best I’ve ever played.” More big strengths include Elliot as running back and Cooper and Lamb as wide receiver.
Some Giants strengths include their running back Barkley and wide receiver Golladay. According to Giants Country FN, “Giants running back Saquon Barkley is without question the most athletically gifted player on the team and the best player on the team.” Barkley, in only two seasons and 29 games, has 143 receptions which means he is not letting any throws slip away, regardless of who is throwing him the ball.
The rivalry dates back to 1960 when their first game ended in a 31-31 tie.
Their last matchup on October 10th ended with a Cowboys win, 44-20. Despite Prescott’s fumble inside the five-yard line and fourth down pick, the Cowboys were still able to come out on top. Jabril Cox’s goal line stop prevented points and took Jones out of the game, Trevon Diggs kept his interception streak alive, helped extend the lead, and Kadarius Toney tripedon fourth down play, extinguishing all hope for the Giants.
The Cowboys have eight wins and four losses. The Giants have four wins and eight losses. But on any given Sunday, any team can win.
