MEET KATERINA LONCAR

Katerina Loncar, Jefferson Township High School Sophomore, is a key player for the Jefferson’s girls soccer program. Jefferson’s 11-0-2 record in the previous year depended on Loncar. As a freshman, she had the most goals scored on the team and tied for most assists. In one particular game, Loncar found the back of the net from the 45 yard line with two minutes remaining to secure the 2-0 win on Jefferson’s senior night. “It was a highlight of my career. A great feeling since the whole stands were filled and everyone went nuts,” Loncar says. As for this year, she has high hopes for a run at states. Loncar says, “There is always a chance for everyone.” After high school, Loncar plans on continuing her soccer career at a college with not only good athletics but good academics as well.
