Without their starting QB, the New York Giants will fight for a playoff spot by trying to beat the Miami Dolphins on their four game winning streak Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium.

With Daniel Jones out because of a neck injury, backup Mike Glennon is set to take his place. With two big playmakers out, Sterling Shepard and Kadarius Toney, Saquon Barkely will have an increased workload. Miami QB, Tua Tagovailoa has been on a hot streak throwing for 661 yards, three touchdowns and only one interception in his first three games back from injury. Jaylen Waddle has been his main target catching 25 passes for 263 yards and a touchdown.

The Dolphins are going to attempt to run the ball even though they aren't great at it. With a shaky offensive line, they focus on getting the ball out of Tagovailoa's hands quickly. New York's interim offensive coordinator, Freddie Kitchens, will look to get it to his playmakers Kenny Golladay and Barkley. It will be a defense heavy game due to the shaky offensives of both teams.

“We’ve got a lot of young guys on our team, on our defense especially, that have just grown up,’’ Ryan said.

The Giants offensive line has struggled all year letting up 26 sacks on the season. The Dolphins blitz heavy team will look to get after the quarterback. The Dolphins have struggled to throw the ball deep. The Giants defense has gotten an interception in eight straight games and will look to capitalize on that.

Since 1972, the Giants have only played the Dolphins 9 times. The Giants have won seven of those nine games.

The Dolphins are on a four game win streak, sitting at a 5-7 after beating the Jets, Panthers, Ravens and Texans. The Giants are trying to claw their way into playoff contention with a 4-7 record, winning two out of the past three games, against the Raiders and the Eagles.
