Senior, Emya Maldonado, just like every other teenage girl, is going through her final year of high school at Jefferson Township High School . Of course not many students like school but Maldonado’s school year is going “horrible and way too stressful” she says. For every Senior the final huge decision they make is what college they go to. Maldonado says college is extra stressful on top of everything because “you're deciding your whole future with one acceptance letter.” Maldonado has not decided on one school but some other choices are Montclair, Kean University, Rutgers, and nursing school in Florida. Many Seniors get privileges so some slack off during Senior year but for Maldonado she is trying her hardest to work hard for her future but still slack off and enjoy her last year. Along with being a Senior you have prom, Maldonado plans on going to her Senior prom, “It is a one time thing so I really want that experience.” Now of course Senior year does not last forever and there is graduation in June. Maldoando is very excited to finally be done with school but very nervous because her adult life has to start and go out on her own for the first time.
